The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Friday, July 23, 2021 with Gary Lundquist, Rick Mongan, Bryan Petersen, Wane Miller and Duane Mummert present. There were no representatives from the press. Unless otherwise indicated, all votes were offered as follows: Ayes –Mongan, Petersen, Mummert, Miller, Lundquist; Nayes – none; Abstentions – none.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Wane Miller, Veteran Affairs Commissioner.
Chairman Lundquist called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
Motion by Mongan, seconded by Petersen to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Mummert, seconded by Miller to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried.
Steve Zarr, Assistant Zoning Administrator, reviewed RAGBRAI vendor applications.
Motion by Mummert, seconded by Mongan to approve a temporary alcohol permit for RAGBRAI as requested by Big Grove Brewery, Solon, Iowa. Motion carried.
There being no further business, Chairman Lundquist adjourned the meeting at 8:10 a.m.
