Ribbon Cutting for Hometown Guesthouse
By Elaine Rassel
Friday morning, (May 21) the Hometown Guesthouse was a busy place as it was going to have a open house ribbon cutting. The Hometown Guesthouse had been closed for a few weeks and during their closure, they did some remodeling. They were ready to show the public what had been done to make a visitor’s stay more comfortable.
As you entered the Guesthouse, you couldn’t help but notice a wall hanging that said, “ Come in the Evening or in the
Morning. Come when Expected or
Come without warning. A
Thousand Welcomes you’ll find here
Before YOU, and the More Often
YOU come, the more We’ll Adore YOU” A tour of the rooms showed the rooms had been painted a soft gray/white color. This color did make the room look larger. Even the front area seemed more inviting. It’s amazing what “color” can do!
There were refreshments inside for those touring to partake of. Then it was time for the ribbon cutting. The Hometown Guesthouse is eager to make your stay one that will bring you back to visit again!
