Diving Into the Summer With Big Plans

The MMCRU high schoolers and staff are getting ready for summer. A lot of them have a pretty good idea of what it all entails. For some people at MMCRU, this is not only going to be fun but sad at the same time, because they realize this is the last summer they have before they make their big step either into the workforce or college.
Senior Audra Penning is planning on getting ready for college by saving and working this summer. She also has plans on running for Plymouth County Fair queen and getting projects ready for the fair. Audra says she loves the fair when it comes around and all fun activities you can do with your family and friends.
Mr. Lonnie Boekhout or what the girls track team calls him “Mr. Buddy” also shared his plans. He is scheduled to work at the high school baseball games as the announcer as well as cheering them on and driving bus to away games. He says he is planning on spending quality time with his family, going camping, and going to concerts.
Sophomore Baily DeBoer is going to work, hang out with family and friends, and you might even see her making a move on the “fellas.”
Mrs. Schindler Is planning on helping her husband out with his job with Snap-onTools. She is going to do fun activities during the summer with her family and might take up some projects and crafts she can do around the house. She is also planning a trip to Florida.
Senior Larissa Miller is going to work and wants to live the best summer she can with her friends. Her big plans this summer are to travel to Texas. She says she is happy to graduate and can’t wait for the future.
