Seniors Take Trip To Omaha
By Blaine Wicks
On Friday, March 26, members of the MMCRU seniors class went on a trip to the Omaha Zoo, Dave and Busters, and the strip mall. The seniors left at 7:30 am and got back to Marcus at 10:30 pm.
Victoria Rojas said, “My favorite part of the trip was when we went to Dave and Busters and played arcade games.” Traditionally the seniors have taken an overnight trip to the Mall of America, but weren’t able to go this year because of covid. But at least we still had a senior trip. Mrs. Peters organized a scavenger hunt, but I didn’t do it because i didn’t have everything social media related, but it looked fun. My goal on the trip was to spend time with my friends and have as much fun as possible. Not having school for a day was awesome because instead of learning, we got to spend time as a class and didn’t have to work on homework for a day. It was a relief.
Senior Elizabeth Pedersen said, “I believe that everyone had a great time. Yeah, we didn’t get to go on the normal senior trip, but at least we still had one and we all had fun. We had a good time at Dave and Busters, and the zoo; i’m glad the whole class could have this trip. It was nice. I’m grateful for this trip.”
