The William H. & Edith M. Guest Educational Trust Scholarships will again be available this year to Cherokee County students attending a vocational school. Applications are now available in the counselor’s offices at the Cherokee, Marcus and Alta-Aurelia High Schools or may be picked up at the Cook Law Firm, 209 W. Willow St. in Cherokee. Applications must be turned in to the Cook Law Firm by May 1, 2021. Students that receive the scholarship last year to attend their first year of school are urged to reapply for a second year. William H. Guest was a long time interior decorator in Cherokee, who desired to help young people obtain a vocational skill.
