MMCRU Royals’ volleyball team took to the court on Saturday September 5 to compete in a tournament with great competition. The first opponent was Westwood Rebels.
Westwood claimed the first set 21-17. MMCRU regrouped and claimed set 2 with a decisive 21-13 win and claimed the final set as well, 15-9.
Junior Tia Tentinger lead assists with 18 per 6.0. The Rebels’ sophomore Carlee Johnston topped her squad with 14 assists per 4.7.
Royals’ Aleah Lux, junior scored with 2 kills, just behind Rebels’ senior Brenna Johnson with 2.3.
Tentinger got in the air for 3 blocks. Junior Ember Staver hit 17 digs with Rebels’ senior Grace Lewis hitting 10.
