Leon Pottebaum – lives in Granville and started with MLC right out of high school working for the 2nd generation of the Leavitt family. He has been helping in the yard and delivering products during his tenure here. Leon was the first certified Andersen Window service provider for Marcus Lumber and focuses quite heavily on service work today. Not many things Leon has seen, fixed, or adjusted over the years!
Bob Leavitt is a 3rd generation part-owner of Marcus Lumber and joined the family business after graduating from the University of South Dakota. At his start, Bob established and grew the post frame building business at Marcus Lumber which was a new construction style that was gaining in popularity. Bob continues to sell and estimate many agricultural buildings throughout Northwest Iowa. Bob has steadily led and grown the business adding warehouse, trucks, locations and team members through his career.
