Marcus Eye Care Center started expanding their Marcus Clinic in early February. “We knew in that 1st year of business we would eventually grow out of our space with the tremendous support of Marcus and surrounding communities,” said Rachel Vandekop, Practice Manager. In April 2024, shortly after the start of the remodeling, Dr. Uhl, Dr. Lefeber, and Dr. Lancaster all care for patients in the Marcus location and are soon bringing yet another to the team, Katy Kudrna, who will be graduating in May 2024.
“This expansion will include 2 more exam lanes, an amazing new optical & lab area, and improve overall patient flow throughout the space. “We are excited to get everything completed and appreciate everyone’s patience with our mess in the meantime. Fortunately we have great contractors who have worked it out so we will have little to no down time and look to wrap construction up sometime in May,” said Vandekop.
While the grand opening took a little longer than anticipated, the practice took advantage of completion and the 1-year anniversary of Dr. Kudrna. They cut the red ribbon on Wednesday July 9 with all of the doctors and Marcus staff present.
