Do you wish that you could see some of the beautiful backyards of Marcus? The Heartland Care Center auxiliary is inviting you to do just that. We have 8 uniquely different backyards for you to tour. From backyard gardens, beautiful decks and patios, to She Sheds, the purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money for outdoor furniture for the residents of Heartland Care Center and to further our endeavor to beautify Heartland’s exterior areas. Over the years the auxiliary has focused on the comfort and needs of the Heartland residents. Now we want to help the residents have a pleasant way to enjoy the outdoors. Thanks to their generosity of opening their backyards to this tour, we have the following ladies of Marcus to thank: Cindy Stevenson, Bev Alesch, Wendy Hauschildt, Ashley Schmillen, Kim Ames, Connie Schachterle, Linda Spieler and Beth Ebert. We hope that you will bring a friend and come with us on this tour on Saturday July 10 from 9am to 12 noon. Tickets and maps will be available at the Farmers State Bank Community room the morning of July 10 between 8:30 and 10:30 am. The price of each ticket will be $15.00. Our rain date will be Saturday July 17, with the same format. This tour will be a lovely way to enjoy a Saturday morning and to help a great cause! Thank you for joining us.
