Sandra Leola Wilberding
(9/2/41-6/7/21)
Preceded in death by parents, Francis & Marie (Knott) Wilberding, sisters and brother-in-laws, Joan (Richard) Barry, La Eva (Don) Kolker and Sharon (Tom) Hueser and her furry and feathery friends: Butch, Socks, Tommy and Tweety. Survived by “sister-in-laws”, Patty Barry, Dorie Feller Kolker and Martha Hueser, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Sandy grew up in Marcus, IA, and spent the majority of her life in Omaha. Her short stature could be found behind a cash register or working on the floor at Goodrich Dairy, Nebraska Clothing, One Hour Martinizing, Hospe’s Music, Brandeis, Younkers, or Osco Drug. She enjoyed country music, dancing, and doll collecting. She was also an enthusiastic volunteer for many years at Omaha’s Summer Arts Festival and an avid political volunteer for both party lines. Sandy will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her and our family is extremely grateful for all the TLC she received at both Immanuel Courtyard and Immanuel Fontenelle.
