V. RECEIVE WRITTEN COMMENTS
No requests were received from the public to address the board.
VI. RECEIVE ORAL COMMENTS
Francis Hinspeter: As a taxpayer, Francis wanted to know what is being spent and why the increase. He feels he pays a fair amount in taxes and with the bond election passing in the last few years, that should cover the school’s expenses. If we are spending more, it bothers him. He hoped the school would be transparent in their spending and he could learn more if he attended the public hearing. While this is a good school and he is proud of it, he wants to know why the increase.
Brian Rupp: With the bond just passing, he would like to know why the increase in property taxes.
Board President, Laura Staab: The letter you received from the county is the maximum request posted by the county. It is not final until the board meeting on April 21. We will review your comments and make a decision in April. Thank you for your comments.
VII. ADJOURN
