MMCRU sophomore Bryce Staab qualified for the state bowling meet held at Waterloo, Iowa last week. Staab bowled a 214, 237, for a 451 series.
Here is a quote from Coach Timmy Jones, “I was very impressed with how Bryce finished out the year. Shooting 505 at districts to qualify for state, and then following that up with a 451 at state is impressive, especially since he had no open frames at state. Unfortunately, there were a lot of good bowlers in 1A, he competed against 2A or 3A, he would have been in the top 8. But I was proud of how he did, and I think he’ll do great things in the next couple of years.”
