We were given the opportunity to ask Mrs. Sarah Brady about the new Farm-Bot, which is located in the MMCRU greenhouse. A farm-bot is a machine that plants seeds, waters, and weeds the garden. Brady stated, “The purpose of the farm-bot is to show how technology is integrating into agriculture on a small scale.” Hannah Nissen-Teepee has taken the lead on the farm-bot as her SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) project. The MMCRU Ag department would like to thank the MMCRU Foundation Board and the Cherokee Legacy Foundation for awarding the funds.
