WesTel Systems proudly announces the promotion of Kristine Mohning as the new General Manager, effective August 5, 2024. With a decade-long tenure at WesTel Systems, Kristine brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the company’s values and operations to her new role.
Having served as the Accounting Manager for the past eleven years, Kristine has been an integral part of WesTel Systems, contributing significantly to the company’s financial stability and growth. Her dedication, leadership skills, and strategic vision have earned her the trust and respect of the staff and the broader community.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kristine is an active member of the community, engaging in various roles such as the Remsen Chamber of Commerce, Remsen Oktoberfest Committee Chair, Remsen St. Mary’s Schools Strategic Planning Committee, Remsen Women’s Volleyball League Administrator, Remsen St. Mary’s High School dance coach, Remsen Junior Golf instructor, and a coach for the Remsen Youth League. Her commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond the workplace, reflecting her passion for serving others and fostering community development.
Kristine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Public Accountancy from the University of South Dakota. Kristine is a 2020 graduate of the Iowa Communications Alliance (ICA) Leadership Academy and currently serves on the ICA Regulatory Relations Committee.
