The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of of Directors met in special session on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 4:00pm in the MMC Board Room, Marcus, IA. Board members present: Laura Staab, Luke Olson, Belinda Leavitt, Dan Erickson, and Kristi Letsche.
I. CALL TO ORDER
Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 4:00pm
II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Belinda Leavitt moved to approve the agenda with the addition of business item C. Dan Erickson seconded.

III. PUBLIC FORUM – PUBLIC HEARING FOR FY25 BUDGET
Don Meyer, Kent Erickson, and Steve Stodden each addressed the board concerning taxation information and changes.
IV. BUSINESS
A. HIRES/RESIGNATIONS
Luke Olson moved to approve the hire of Bailey Lehnhoff for the second grade teacher position. Kristi Letsche seconded.

B. NEW FIREWALL PURCHASE
Luke Olson moved to approve the purchase of a new firewall protection license and service. Belinda Leavitt seconded.

C. CREDIT CARD APPLICATION
Dan Erickson moved to approve that Business Manager, Ginell Wetter may proceed with applying for a Business Credit Card through Farmers State Bank and if successful she may close the Business Account currently held with Chase Credit Services. Kristi Letsche seconded.
