PUBLIC NOTICE OF CITY OF MARCUS TO LEASE CITY PROPERTY FOR GRAZING OF SHEEP
Notice is hereby given that the City of Marcus requests that any interested person submit sealed bids for the grazing of sheep the following specified City property:
1) Any interested person may submit a bid setting out a price for grazing of sheep over the few acres of land along and around the public wastewater treatment lagoons for a period of one year in Marcus, Iowa.
2) Any interested person must agree to have sheep on the land beginning no later than June 1 and until at least August 31st.
3) Bids shall be sealed and may be submitted and must be filed with the City Clerk of Marcus, Iowa on or before April 16th, 2024, by 4pm.
4) Said bids will be opened at the City Council meeting on April 22, 2024, and the successful bidder will be expected to sign a lease shortly thereafter.
