Senior Spotlight Tyler Fredes
By Elizabeth Pedersen
Tyler Frederes is the son of Adam Frederes and Lori Hinspeter-Schwarz. Tyler had a sister by the name of Amber that he misses dearly. Some of the activities that Tyler has been involved in are football-four varsity letters, four academic letters, one all state, bowling sportsmanship, and in track he has won two varsity letters. Some of Tyler’s favorite memories from high school are prom, track meets, girls’ state basketball, and Marra’s weight room.
Outside of school Tyler likes to hang out around his family and friends. The advice Tyler has for the underclassmen would be to listen and respect your seniors and spend your younger years goofing off and slacking off. Some of the jobs Tyler has had throughout high school was being a lifeguard at the Marcus pool, Agrivision of Paullina, and as a commercial lawn mower. Tyler’s favorite school lunch is crispitos.
Tyler’s greatest accomplishment of high school is when he was at girls’ state basketball when he won a rib eating contest. One of Tyler’s pet peeves is when people leave spoiled milk in the fridge. One of Tyler’s greatest fears is stairs.
Tyler’s favorite year has been his senior year when a lot of good things and bad things happened. After high school Tyler would like to go to college and become a John Deere tech. In Tyler’s life he would like to accomplish getting a house and a family and he also hopes to become a good dad and a good husband. Tyler wants to be remembered as being the person who tried their hardest, when doing so was futile, no matter the cost.
