The MMCRU boys’ track team travelled to Hartley on Monday, May 3 for their conference meet. The boys left the meet content as they took fourth place out of ten teams. With tough competition, the boys pulled through with great times. Taking the win was Unity Christian with a total of 114 points.
I asked sprinter and hurdler Brenin Stodden his thoughts about the meet. Brenin Stodden stated, “At the conference meet the boys took fourth place! We went out and we put our best effort out there as our season is coming to an end. Kamden Steffen came out and won high jump and the rest of the team followed off his lead and fought back in points to take fourth.”
