On April 26, the MMCRU boys’ golf team had their second home match. The boys played against West Sioux at Remsen. The boys played an astounding match as they sprung up winning with the final score being 179-206.
The lowest scorer for the boys was Caden Sand with a score of 42. Coming in a close second was Brennan Rolfes with 44 strokes. Taking third with a score of 45 was Cody Evans. Fourth place was Cade Pepper with 48 strokes as well as Noah Galles coming in fifth place with a score of 48. Taking eight place was Owen Schroeder with 50 strokes.
Scoring for West Sioux was Chris with 48 strokes. Coming in a close second was Avery with 48. Taking third was Jordan with a score of 59.
Caden Sand stated, “The meet on Monday went really well. We brought up some JV kids for the varsity team and they all played very well. This was the nicest meet of the year. I’m pretty proud of how well the team came together. Overall it was a good meet!”
