MMCRU Girls’ Golf Rolls Past West Sioux

On April 26 the MMCRU girls’ golf team played their second home match of the season. The girls competed against West Sioux at Remsen. The girls played an outstanding match as they came up winning with the final score being 220-241.
The lowest scorer for the team was Avery Schlenger with a score of 53. Kristina Goth came in a close second with a score of 54. Third was Sophie Hohbach with a score of 55. Coming in fourth was Belle Olson with a score of 58. Sixth place was Molly Reuter with a score of 62. Coming in seventh place for the girls was Emma Reuter with a score of 76.
Scoring for West Sioux was Emily Hulshof with 49 strokes. Coming in second with 59 was Brenna Reinking, while taking third was Kassadee Anderson with 66 strokes.
Molly Reuter stated, “It was a good golf meet! We had four of our girls medal! Overall as a team we did amazing!”
Belle Olson added, “It was a great feeling having our team score under our average by 20 strokes. Four of us on our team were in the 50’s, which was our team best and we were finally able to enjoy the beautiful weather!”
