MMCRU’s Middle School will be holding a band concert on Monday, May 8 in Remsen. Concert will start at 7pm in the west gym. The 5th grade will be playing The Banana Boat Song arr. Ryan Nowlin, The Good Life by Ryan Nowlin, and First Things First by Heather Hoefle. The 6th grade will perform Nighthawk by James Swearingen, Zip Drive by Les Taylor, and Half-Past Two by Randall Standridge. The 7th and 8thgrade will play Softly Speaks the Night by Carol Brittin Chambers, Zydeco Cajun Crawdad Dance by Roland Barrett, and Afterburn by Randall Standridge. All grades are going to be playing Batter Up! by DavidShaffer.
For attendees, there is no cost for admissions, and chocolate will be sold during the concert for $1 each. It will be the last middle school band concert for the year, so please come and support our Royals!
