Floyd Valley Foundation will once again be hosting their annual ”Helping Children” Benefit Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 13. Tee times are available at the Willow Creek Golf Course by calling 546-6849. The benefit is an 18-hole, 4-person scramble. The benefit golf fee is $300 per team, which includes 18 holes of golf, a light breakfast and lunch. In 2022, proceeds of over $29,000 were used to purchase a Vscan-portable ultrasound and 2-transcutaneous jaundice screening meters.
There will be hole prizes and incentives, including the chance to win $10,000 towards the purchase of a car sponsored by Total Motors for making a hole-in-one on 4 Green. Perspective Insurance will be sponsoring a chance to win $5,000 cash on 6 Red. There will be flight prizes for the winning foursomes. Purchase chances to win a Taylor Made Driver generously donated by Shane and Peggy Sitzmann and Brian and Shauna Schultz.
