City Council Minutes, Bills, Transferring of Funds (Resolution #23-01), Resolution # 23-02 for Naming Depositories; Resolution #23-03 for Reimbursement Rate for Employees Uses Personal Vehicle for City Business; Resolution #23-04 for Establishing Compensation for City Attorney; Attorney Fee Contract; Resolution #23-05 for Time and Place for Public Hearing on Maximum Property Tax Dollars; Triple-C Pest Control Contract; Official Newspaper; Applications for Tax Abatement under the Marcus Urban Revitalization Plan for Judy Clausen and United Bank of Iowa, and Council Members Appointed for Committees, City Clerk and City Attorney.
There was a water leak at the Royal Apartments that had to be shut off at the street as there were no shutoffs but there.
Matt Dreckman reported that they have been trying to get the ice off the streets. Also, undergoing service will be done on vehicle equipment before spring.
The shared City Inspector position would probably start July 1. Other cities involved in this shared position will have their budgets set around this time.
An architect in Sioux City has been contacted for the Clubhouse at the Golf Course. Mayor Bunt and Councilman Ebert have been working with this architect. A drawing is needed and approved and then a building estimate will be given.
The meeting was adjourned and the Mayor and Council members went into their budget workshop.
