The Royalty posed for pictures and soon the stage was empty with just memories of the Homecoming Coronation for 2022 remaining.
On Friday, September 23 at 1:30 the Homecoming Parade took place. Adults and children were lined up along the streets. Kids were waiting for candy thrown from those in the parade! Then it was heard—the police siren! The parade had begun! Police from Marcus and Remsen, Ambulances, VFW from Remsen, Plymouth Country Fair float, Banks from Remsen and Marcus, Floyd Valley Health Care, floats with elementary students from Remsen and Marcus, floats with Middle School sports participants, Firetrucks with football players, with volleyball players and cross country players on floats. The floats from the High School classes went through. The Royalty attendants rode in cars proceeding the King and Queen. None of the Royalty had on the formal attire they had on the previous night—it was too cold! The sheriff brought up the last of the parade. (If your entry was eliminated from this list, it was not done intentionally as it is hard to take pictures and notes at the same time!)
Back to the school for a pep rally and then get ready for the big game that night.
