Not an Everyday Happening at Heartland Care Center
I went to Heartland Care Center on Thursday, Sept. 1 to celebrate Shirley Shea’s birthday. When we arrived we found Shirley enjoying time with her family. We went to sit at another table and I saw the lady at the end of the table was wearing a crown. It was Jeralyn Hoefling’s mother, Margie Schiltz. She was 90 years old Sept. 1. Then I saw Cindy Stevenson standing with a lady wearing a corsage. It was her mother, Dorothy Clow who was 96 years old on Sept. 1. It was unusual for three residents to celebrate their birthdays on the same date! Shirley was the youngest of the trio. May they celebrate many more!
