145 pound senior, Colin Pick, went 3-0 and 145 pound senior, Nathan Harvey, went 2-1 last Thursday night versus Pocahontas, OABCIG, and Akron-Westfield. The boys made history as this meet was the first home meet ever in MMCRU history. According to Colin, “It was fun being in our home gym and even better winning in front of all of these people that I know.” The boys were able to wrestle on MMCRU mats and in MMCRU singlets, even though they technically wrestle for the Cherokee Braves due to MMCRU not having a team. Nathan said, “It was exciting to be in our own gym, on our own mats, representing our school. It made the duals the best ones of the year.” Photographs from Through My Lens By Reta.
