Matthew Kollbaum
This weeks Staff Spotlight is Mrs. Amanda Olson. She teaches both in Remsen and Marcus and she teaches Family and Consumer Sciences. She grew up in eastern Iowa and went to college at Iowa State University for a Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies. She wanted to be a teacher because she loves working with teenagers and doesn’t want to sit behind a desk all day long. She loves to teach the new generation and guide them to their best life. Advice she wished someone would have told her in High school is “ Take chances”.
