Orange City Area Health System Celebrates 20 Years with a Community Event

ORANGE CITY, IA — Orange City Area Health System invites the community to join in celebrating 20 years at its current campus with a special anniversary event on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Windmill Park.
The celebration will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and enjoy an evening of food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. In addition to the evening’s festivities, a limited-edition commemorative cookbook will be available for purchase during the event. The cookbook celebrates the hospital system’s history and features a collection of recipes and stories that reflect the community and connections built over the years.
The event will feature a variety of local food trucks and activities including balloon animals, face painting, a bubble station, and ambulance tours from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., along with live music by The Browns from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. All food and activities will be provided at no cost as a gesture of appreciation for the community’s continued support.
“This milestone reflects far more than the growth of our organization, it represents trust, relationships, and shared commitment with the communities we serve,” said Marty Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System. “It is our privilege to provide care, build meaningful connections, and grow alongside this community. This celebration is a tribute to that shared journey.”
Since opening the doors of its current campus, Orange City Area Health System has remained committed to delivering high-quality care while fostering strong relationships within the region. The 20-year celebration reflects that ongoing mission and the organization’s gratitude for the trust placed in them by patients and families.
Attendees are encouraged to bring family and friends, enjoy the park setting, and help commemorate this important milestone.
