Marcus Meriden Cleghorn CSD Board of Directors Meeting
The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors held a regular meeting on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the RU Media Center, together with the Remsen-Union Community School District Board of Directors.
I. CALL TO ORDER Laura Staab called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Sarah Brady presented details of an educational trip to Ireland in 2027 for FFA students, to be paid for by fundraising efforts. Bill Sillau moved to approve the trip. Russ Godbersen seconded.

B. INDUSTRIAL TECH PLASMA TABLE Matt Hansen presented bids for a new plasma table utilizing the Iowa STEM Best grant funds. Dan Erickson moved to approve the purchase of a plasma table from Greenway Associates. Bill Sillau seconded.

C. DRAFT TABLE REPAIRS Matt Hansen reviewed the need for repairs to the current draft tables that will be covered by breakdown insurance. Kristi Letsche moved to approve the repairs. Russ Godbersen seconded.
