The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on January 19, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the MMC Commons to discuss and receive input on the proposed 2026-2027 School Calendar, in accordance with Iowa Code § 279.10. The proposal allows for 180 days instructional hours and sets the start date as August 24, 2026. The Board encourages all interested community members to attend and share their feedback.
All persons interested are invited to attend this hearing and be heard. Written comments may be submitted to Bobbi Riedemann, Board Secretary, on or before Monday, January 19, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
