2024 Middle School Concert Before Another Snowstorm

The Middle School Concert finally took place Thursday January 11 after missing a snowstorm on December 20, 2023.
Director for choir is Ms. Breeana DeVos. Fifth grade singers began with “Seven Feet of Snow”! How appropriate. They were accompanied on piano by Kay Krekow. The fifth grade singers, which consists of 31 singers. They are: Presley Daum, Regan Frederick, Charity Hengtgen, Levi Hoffman, Kiefer Ivarson, Eridy Johnson, Baylee Kamphoff, Kaylee Kamphoff, Avery Lennon, Henry Letsche, Sydney Letsche, Syerra Letsche, London Loutsch, Bentley Messelhiser, Brady Mouser, Zachariah Pederson, Kara Peterson, Bennett Poeckes, Rayne Pratt, Joseph Price, Jerron Stevens, Emmalee Todd, Aliyannah Wolf, Ryder Youde, Elise Specht, Hailey Schmillen, Isabel Frangione, Maelin Galles, Sylar Bamba, and Island Carey.
Sixth grade choir sang “Cold Snap”. This was definitely a very appropriate song because of how cold it has been the last several weeks. The 6th grade choir consists of 21 students and they are: Emma Barinsky, Keaton Dreckman, Katrina Easton, John Essman, Reagen Geerdes, Zarie Hanson, Bentley Hill, Eibhlin Hogg, Dryver Homan, Trenton Huff, Oneria Johnson, Cooper McKinney, Courtney Medard, Leah Moos, Connor Nothem, Carlos Perez Perez, Toriana Poeckes, Natalie Poulsen, Isaac Schneider, Devin Scott, and Nevaeh Villarreal.
The 7th-8th grade singers began with “Ding Dong Merrily on High”. They consist of 20 students and they are: Jagger Becker, Laiken Bork, Carter Cave-Kelly, Jayda Decker, Amaya Gengler, Willow Hageman, Theodore Hermanson, Izabella Hinsch, Gabby Johnson, Madison Lowden, Ashley Mouser, Lillana Olson, Neysi Perez, Marissa Rojas, Celia Shea, Aubrey Specht, Faith Spenner, Thelsalynn Stephen, Giana Stevens, and Kaydence Stites. For the final song, 5th-8th grade singers combined and sang “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”. They had a total of 71 singers. What an impressive number of singers.



4 drummers introduced the audience to the band selection under director Ms. Emma Davis. 5th grade band members played “Fabulous Five”, “Pass The Song”, and “Good King Wenceslas”.
Flute: Sylar Bamba, Isabel Frangione, Maelin Galles, Bentley Messelhiser, Avery Lennon, Syerra Letsche, Kaydance Prunty, and Elise Specht.
Clarinet: Kennedy Bindner, Logan Bush, Island Carey, Doc Hinesly, Eridy Johnson, Kaylee Kamphoff, Remi Pangelina, Hailey Schmillen, and Ellie Staab.
Baritone: Bennett Poeckes, Addlyn Schuppan, and Calvin Smith.
Saxophone: Baylee Kamphoff, Sydney Letsche, Makenna Lowden, Zach Pederson, Elise Rupp, and Jake Stevick.
Trombone: Cole Erdman, Kenten Galles, Brody Gaskill, Lilly Hill, Henry Letsche, and Kholton Ruden.
Trumpet: Micah Doellinger, Brynn Gengler, Breanna Herman, Brady Hueser, Kiefer Ivarson, Isaiah Richardson, Cael Sand, Josie Staab, and Ryder Youde.
Percussion: McKinley Gergen, George Wolodkiewicz, and Josie Wolodkiewicz.
Next came the 6th grade band. They started with “O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree)”, followed by “Winter Medley”, and finished with “Not So Silent Night”.

Clarinet: Katie Easton, Oneira Johnson, Aaliyah Porter, and Mikayla Shay.
Saxophone: Treton Huff and Clayton Jansen.
Trumpet: Tyson Carver, Ryan Dreckman, Brynlee Oswald, Logan Staab, and Derek Tentinger.
French Horn: Brody Meyer.
Trombone: Hayden Olson, Isaac Schneider, Luke Staab, and Tori Poeckes.
Bass Guitar: Eibhlin Hogg.
Percussion: Preston Busch and Hayden Flewelling.
7th and 8th grade band played “Bell Carol Rock”, “Songs of Christmas Cheer!”, and “Angelic Hosts Proclaim!”.
Flute: Jayda Decker, Katie Haaven, Chloe Martinez, Addy Ruskamp, Kaydence Stites, and Tori Treinen.
Clarinet: Rachel Doellinger, Faith Spenner, and Ashley Wetter.
Saxophone: Amaya Gengler and Ethan Steffen.
Trumpet: Gavin Alesch, Isaac Astidias, Rebekah Casson, Ashley Mouser, Bentley Reed, Emmett Rupp, and Aiden Shea.
Trombone: Garrett Alesch, Jagger Becker, Charles Easton, Owen Erickson, Trenton Hageman, and Owen Lennon.
Cello: Carter Cave-Kelly.
