The MMCRU Royals High School Wrestling Team is a relatively new program, having restarted their own team in the 2023-2024 school year after several years of sharing athletes with Cherokee. The team is currently competing in dual action events and tournaments, with recent dual meet wins against teams like Sioux City North and Pocahontas Area. Individual wrestlers such as Parker Glassmaker and Carter Astidias have achieved success in their respective weight classes, securing multiple pins and high placements in recent competitions. Under Coach Nick Dreckman, the young team is focused on building experience and becoming more competitive in the future.
