Step Back in time this Holiday Season!
Join us for a festive countywide tour of the five historical museums in Cherokee County. This is your chance to see the Aurelia Heritage Museum, Grand Meadow Heritage Center, Illinois Central Railroad Depot, Sanford Museum and Planetarium and our own Marcus Historical Society. This event will take place Saturday, December 6, 9AM-5PM and Sunday from 12PM-4PM, 2025. Visitors can drive their cars to any of the museum sights in any order. Pick up your heritage Holiday Passport at your first stop and collect a stamp at every location then take a Heritage Holiday ornament as a thank you for celebrating with us Want to ride instead of drive?
