NOTICE OF PLANNING & ZONINGG AND CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARINGS BY THE CITY OF PRIMGHAR FOR CONSIDERATION OF A REZONING OF PROPERTY
Pursuant to the requirements of Article XXV, Section 25.1. Procedures Changes and Amendments and Section 25.4. Public Hearing of the Primghar 2021 Zoning Ordinance, the Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on October 14, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the City of Primghar City Hall 160 S. Hayes Avenue, Primghar, Iowa 51245. The purpose of the hearing will be to discuss a proposed amendment to the City’s Official Zoning Map by amending the zoning district boundaries of a particular property from R-1 Single-Family to R-2 Multi-Family Residential. An application for rezoning the property is made by Abigail and Dale Jungers for property owned by AANDD Purchasing LLC. The property is commonly known as 180 2nd Street, Primghar, Iowa. The proposed property to be rezoned brief Assessor’s legal description includes ORIGINAL TOWN W ½ OF LOT 2 & ALL OF LOT 3 BLK6, Primghar, O’Brien County, Iowa. The Parcel Number for this property is 0000189100.

The Primghar Planning & Zoning Commission will be meeting on October 14, 2025 to hold a public hearing and to review the proposed map amendment and to make a recommendation to the City Council.
