Wolverines Host Blackhawks

Set scores
SO’ – 14, 14, 11
Hinton – 25, 25, 25
Head Coach Amy Schmidt shared her perspective of the volleyball match against an always tough Hinton Blackhawks volleyball team. She said, “Overall I was pleased with our efforts. We had some great defense at the net with 4 assisted blocks. Taylor & Raegan were solid for us there. We’re doing much better with setting our block.”
Offensively she commented on the Wolverine resiliency saying, “We were scrappy at times keeping the ball in play. Our serving was great!” Schmidt also shared how the team can make improvements. She said, “I felt we could’ve passed a lot better. That kept us out of system a majority of the time. When we pass, our offense is effective.”
Showing real respect to the opponent, Schmidt added, “Hinton has the best player in Bailey Boeve, hands down!! She’s fun to watch!”
