Cherokee County Farm Bureau recently held their Annual Meeting and Family Fun Night at the Marcus Fairgrounds. To help make the event run smooth, the Farm Bureau extended an invite to our local FFA Advisor Sarah Brady and the MMCRU FFA Club to assist. Sarah and FFA members were busy inside helping to serve the meal along with clean up afterwards. There were additional FFA members outside assisting the elderly with parking and over seeing the children playing in the inflatables in the park.
Our local MMCRU FFA Club was recognized for all their hard work and dedication to helping in the community. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig presented the club with a check in appreciation for their presence and hard work from the Cherokee County Farm Bureau. These kids are our future in leading agriculture in our community.
