The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors has received a construction permit application for a confinement feeding operation, more specifically described as follows:
Name of Applicant: Twin Valley Producers Network Inc
Location of the proposed construction: Section 13 of Spring Township.
Type of confinement feeding operation structure proposed: One new deep pit 300 head gilt confinement barn at an existing farrowing and gestating swine confinement facility.
Animal Unit Capacity of the Confinement Operation after Construction: 1474.4 animal units (2566 head of gestating sows, 520 head of farrowing sows & litter and 600 head of gilts)
Examination: The application is on file at the County Auditor’s Office and is available for public inspection during the following days: Monday through Friday and hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
