The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program is offering “Last Chance” Private Pesticide Applicator Continuing Instruction Courses (CIC) for private pesticide applicators at participating county extension offices. The course will fulfill 2023-2024 continuing instruction requirements for private pesticide applicators.
Applicators are strongly encouraged to attend the final in-person Private Pesticide Applicator Training on April 4 at 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Northwest Iowa Community College Building A, Room 119. Applicators should preregister to 712-957-5045 or online at https://form.jotform.com/4Hregion1/obrien-private-pesticide.
If the April 4 date does not work and training is still needed, the following Extension offices are offering “last chance” showings in Northwest Iowa. Note that preregistration is needed, and seating is limited at each location. Walk-ins are not allowed.

• April 8, 9, 10, 11 at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m., ISU Extension and Outreach Buena Vista County Office (new location), 701 Seneca St., Suite 1, Storm Lake; Preregister to 712-732-5056.
• April 8, 9, 10, 11, 15 at 9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., ISU Extension and Outreach Cherokee County Office, Cherokee; Preregister to 712-225-6196.
• April 11 at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m., ISU Extension and Outreach Clay County Office (new location), 1515 West 18th St., Spencer; Preregister to 712-262-2264.
  The course will run for approximately two and a half hours. The registration fee is $30.
