At the January 9 meeting there were 13 items on the agenda that were enacted by one motion. There was no separate discussion on these items unless a request was made prior to the time the Council votes on the motion. There were several of these that I felt needed to have answers for. I was unable to get these the week of publication but have included these in this week’s publication.
Resolution #23-02—Resolution Naming Depositories. These were the three local banks—Farmers State Bank, State Savings Bank, and United Bank of Iowa.
Resolution #23-03—Resolution to set Reimbursement Rate for Employees using Personal Vehicle for City Business. Current IRS rate is $.65.5 a mile. Approving ATTORNEY FEE CONTRACT was $175 an hour.
Resolution #23-04—Time and Place for Public Hearing for Purpose of soliciting Written and Oral Comments on Maximum Property Tax Dollars. Time is 5 p.m. on next City Council meeting at City Hall on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023

Approval Application for Tax Abatement Under the Marcus Urban Revitalization Plan for Judy Clausen=100% exemption on actual value added for 3 years.
