MMCRU’s archery squad traveled to Siouxland Christian High School on Saturday, January 15. The Royals were joined by teams from Lawton-Bronson, Ridge View, Sergeant Bluff, Westwood, Woodbury Central, and Siouxland Christian.
The Royals shot in two morning flights, starting at approximately 9:50 and 10:30. They were led by Senior shooters Brenin Stodden who shot another state qualifying score of 272, along with Sophomore Hayven Hollingshead, who shot a 270.
The Royals top 12 shooters combined to shoot a season high 3152, which qualifies the team for state. If the team can shoot the score again, and remain in the top 80 schools in the state, they will find themselves in the state tournament once again.
