Absentee Voting Begins at Cherokee County Auditor’s Office
Cherokee County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, Kris Glienke, has announced that absentee ballots for the November 2, 2021, City-School Election will be available to be voted in the Cherokee County Auditor’s Office on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Absentee ballots may be cast in the Cherokee County Auditor’s Office at 520 W Main St., Cherokee, IA, during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through November 1st.
Absentee ballots must be requested in writing. Forms are available at the Auditor’s Office and at the Iowa Secretary of State’s web site at www.sos.iowa.gov.
All requests for ballots to be mailed must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 5 p.m. October 18th. Ballots must be received by the Auditor’s Office by 8:00 p.m. on election day.
